Danau Sentarum is located in the province of West Kalimantan. The maximum depth of this lake is about 8 m.
5. Lake Matano
Lake Matano is located in East Luwu Regency, South Sulawesi. This lake is the deepest in Indonesia, with a maximum depth of up to 590 meters. It is about 164 km2 in area. Lake Matano is a tectonic lake located on the island of Sulawesi, South Sulawesi Province, and ranks 5th as the largest lake in Indonesia.
